Welcom Software takes first step on acquisition trail.

Harrogate-based tailored business solutions provider, Welcom Software has completed the acquisition of leading eCommerce and online marketing specialist e-inbusiness, based in Maidenhead.
The deal strengthens Welcom's market share within the retail IT sector with eCommerce complementing Welcom's existing Retail and Supply Chain product suite. The acquisition enables Welcom to offer its clients cutting-edge eCommerce websites and e-marketing services, allowing retailers to develop their online presence whilst receiving the exemplary customer service that they have come to expect from Welcom Software over its 28 year history.
The e-inbusiness approach combines design, usability and functionality to maximise online revenues and customer satisfaction. Clients include major high street names Conran UK, Space NK, Farrow and Ball and Blooming Marvellous.
The relationship between the two companies will mean that e-inbusiness will benefit from the radical culture change process that has informed Welcom's growth and success over the past two years. This process has seen Welcom being presented with a host of business awards and being shortlisted for the Computer Weekly Best Places to Work in IT awards for two consecutive years.
